JLCCS offers a wonderful hot plate lunch everyday school is in session. Students may also bring a lunch from home if they wish.   Lunch boxes and sack lunches are to be placed in the cafeteria in the morning.  Unfortunately, refrigeration for these items is not available.  Microwave access is limited.

Parents can begin having lunch with their students after Labor Day.  This helps our students become adjusted at the start of the school year.  Parents eating lunch with his/her child must check in the office and have filled out and cleared a Safe Environment Screening form.  Call the office by 9:30am to order your parent lunch or send a note to the office in the morning for our meal counts.  Parents can come and have lunch with their children this year at an outside picnic location on campus.   Adult lunch is $6.00.    

• Students are expected to eat a portion of their meal to make sure they are staying healthy. In some rare cases parents will be notified if your child consistently skips lunch. The school may ask you for a written note acknowledging that you are aware your child is not eating. Every child will be encouraged to eat something at lunch.

• Carbonated beverages are not permitted.

• Food is not to be taken out of the cafeteria.
