A quidditch match was the best way to wrap up this group's last club meeting for the school! Thank you Mrs. Aguilar, Mrs. Ibarra, and Mrs. Ward for all you have done for our students this school year!

We loved getting to see these Roman architecture projects that our middle school students created!

May the Fourth be with you! Our Star Wars club ended the year by attending the Jedi training academy. Special thanks to Mrs. Garrison and Mrs. Cozart for advising this club throughout this year.

We want to thank The Grounds Guys of Waxahachie for partnering with us to renovate our prayer garden on campus! We also appreciate the generosity of OLAS Corsicana (Our Lady’s Altar Society) who gave our school these Easter lilies for us to plant in the garden.

Happy Principal's Day!

Our fifth grade students are at the Camp of the Pines this week. We ask for your prayers for them as they enjoy a week full of faith and fellowship!

Our 3:16 Choir had an amazing time performing at the Texas State Capitol yesterday!

Happy Earth Day from our Pokémon Club! In addition to trading cards, our students painted flower pots at their last meeting and planted seeds.

Our students in Mrs. Hall's class love taking a moment during the school day to get comfortable and read.

Such beautiful artwork completed by our students in Mrs. Huerta's class.

Our students have loved having access to our computer lab. This summer, our computer lab will be redesigned into a state of the art STEM lab complete with a 3D printer. We cannot wait to see what all our students can accomplish with access to the newest technology.

Our Little Flowers Girls’ Club went on a field trip to the Benedictine Monastery of Thien Tam in Kerens. The girls were able to walk the life-sized Stations of the Cross, discuss the importance of mercy in their lives, visit the Eucharistic Miracles Chapel and the Relics Chapel. Afterwards, they had lunch at Uniquely Yours Village Team Room. We are grateful for these opportunities to focus on the importance of virtues with our students.

This is the way our Star Wars Club has fun at their meetings. They played several Star Wars themed games including Star Wars Pictionary.

Our Track Team has done such an incredible job training this season. We wish them the best of luck as they continue to compete and represent JLCCS in the Dallas Parochial League.

Our 5th and 8th grade students go to the Camp of Pines annually. Camp of the Pines is a Catholic retreat site that believes that young people will grow in their relationship with Jesus through their camp. The goal that the staff at Camp of the Pines has is to give youth the confidence and the strength they need to continue their faith journey and to help them foster healthy vocations. As a result of experiences at The Pines, campers come back to campus with a desire to live joyfully and to confidently build the kingdom of God.

Easter Class Celebrations!

These first grade students have been reading to their adopted peeps throughout this past week. The peeps were delivered to the class from E. Bunny and they have enjoyed caring for their peeps this week.

Our eighth grade students hosted live Stations of the Cross for our school to participate in yesterday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
"Behold, my servant shall prosper, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high. As many were astonished at him -- his appearance was so marred, beyond human semblance, and his form beyond that of the sons of men -- so shall he startle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths because of him; for that which has not been told them they shall see, and that which they have not heard they shall understand." - Isaiah 52: 13-15

We had a great time at our Little Flowers Girls’ Club meeting. Father Juan Carlos from Immaculate Conception Catholic Church came to the meeting and spoke with the girls about the importance of mercy in our lives. Afterwards, the girls made origami cootie catchers with the Easter story which included Bible verses. We are so grateful to have these opportunities with these sweet servant leaders.

“So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31
We are proud of our JV track team that competed this past weekend. Check out these photos of Myleigh and Jolie who placed 9th and 10th at the DPL meet.
