We had a great time celebrating our cross country and volleyball teams at our pep rally. Special thanks to our student council for hosting the pep rally and to our cheer club for bringing lots of spirit. It was great to have both of our mascots out cheering!

These preschool students had a great time celebrating Pirate Day. They especially loved their treasure hunt!

At this week's Little Flowers Girl's Club, our members discussed a challenge and a blessing this week with each other. Additionally, they worked on a craft project and made a Saint Therese novena booklet. We love watching these girls grow in their faith.

Our students in our U.S. Military History Club had a great first meeting for the year as they celebrated the Air Force's birthday, learned about the various military branches, and then engaged in an escape room activity in which they had to solve puzzles and crack codes to complete their mission.

Special thanks to all of our grandparents who were able to come to campus this week to celebrate Grandparent's Day! We loved having you on campus to meet our teachers, enjoy a meal, and visit our Book Fair.

Today is the last day for our JLCCS Book Fair. It will be held today from 8:00am to 10:00am.

These students were excited to raise their hands and get involved in 4H this year.

Our JLCCS cross country team had a great time cheering on Corsicana High School at their most recent cross country meet. We especially loved seeing so many alumni running with CHS and even Blooming Grove. Special thanks to Mrs. Nelson for coordinating this trip.

Our first grade and kindergarten students loved having a slumber party after they finished their testing!

We had a great time this weekend hosting volleyball games in our gymnasium. Special thanks to our Booster Club for running our concession stand, our Cheer Club and mascots for coming out to support our team, and everyone in our community who came out. Our Varsity and JV team did a great job.

Special thanks to all our students and their families who helped us kick off our Annual GAP Campaign this weekend with speaking, passing out envelopes, and hosting hospitality at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church! We appreciate the support of parishioners at ICC!

James L. Collins Catholic School is blessed to have its very own SmartLab Innovation Center on our campus. Our SmartLab is a fully integrated learning environment where everything from the furniture and technology focuses on the STEM curriculum. The four core elements of STEM include SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, and MATH, and are used together to support hands-on, minds-on learning as well as help prepare our students for college and careers in their future. It’s a place where personalized learning and intrinsic motivation engage students of all ages, interests, and abilities.

These kids are ready for recess!

More fun in preschool at JLCCS with shaving cream writing.
