Our JLCCS Garden Club digs right in to make our campus better. This club is learning about horticulture and working to transform a space in the back of the school. Special thanks to Mrs. Garrison, Mr. Overton, and Mrs. Vianey for helping our students. Additionally, if you have raised beds, soil, or supplies to make greenhouse tops that you can donate, please contact our school.

Throughout National Catholic Schools Week our students focused on the virtue of gratitude. They wrote thank you letters to their teachers, staff members, coaches, and advisors. Students also wrote thank you notes to Father Juan Carlos and Father Steve. Additionally, several classes brought thank you treats to both the parish staff and Father Juan Carlos and Father Steve. Father Steve was also able to meet with our middle school students to teach them about vocations.

Our students were “doing the most good” as they volunteered at The Salvation Army of Corsicana this week. Students sorted clothes, cleaned the store, and worked in the food pantry. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations that give back to our community.
