If you are interested in working at JLCCS for the upcoming school year, please send your resume to Mrs. Hoyer at lhoyer@collinscatholicschool.org

JLCCS is once again hosting our annual Prize Calendar fundraiser. We truly want to thank you for your support. Individuals can buy a calendar for $25 each throughout the month of March. Beginning on April 1st, we will draw one calendar number a day throughout the entire month and that winner will get that prize.
This fundraiser helps our school to cover our annual operating expenses, without raising tuition. Our goal is to raise $30,000 through this fundraiser.
You can buy a calendar from any JLCCS student or from the school directly. Additionally, you can also buy a calendar online at https://jameslcollinscatholicschool.factsmgtadmin.com/form/f6UxgYEyL?authToken=__token__
Winners will be posted online.

Mrs. Kuchler knows how to serve up fun in our preschool 3 class as she rides up to the McDonald's play center. These kids are loving it!

What an amazing morning! Our Blue Knights Boys' Club held their cape and shield ceremony at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. All of these young boys received their patches for the virtues and lessons that they have focused on so far this year. We appreciate the leadership of Mrs. Lara, Mr. Garcia, and all of the parents that have assisted with this club.

Our 4H students were in the classroom cooking as our four teams prepare for the Navarro County Youth Expo. This week they came together, created healthy dishes, and then presented their dish and answered questions.

It was such a fun night on Saturday! We only managed to grab photos at the beginning and the end of our Daddy Daughter Dance. Special thanks to Victoria Westbrook, our PTC officers, and all the parents who helped to make this night possible.

These preschool students were learning how to floss their teeth in Mrs. Smith’s class.

It was a great day for our students in Tyler at the PSIA academic competition. Our students have worked hard to be able to compete. We also truly appreciate everything our coaches and parent volunteers have done for our teams. We have the best community at JLCCS!

Our Blue Knights Boys’ Club were praying at their last club meeting and the Holy Spirit was with them! It is wonderful to see these boys grow in their faith together.

"Remember, you are dust, and unto dust you shall return."
Lent is a 40 day season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday. It's a period of preparation to celebrate the Lord's Resurrection at Easter. During Lent, we seek the Lord in prayer by reading Sacred Scripture; we serve by giving alms; and we practice self-control through fasting. We are called not only to abstain from luxuries during Lent, but to a true inner conversion of heart as we seek to follow Christ's will more faithfully. We recall the waters of baptism in which we were also baptized into Christ's death, died to sin and evil, and began new life in Christ.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It is not jealous, [love] is not pompous, it is not inflated, it is not rude, it does not seek its own interests, it is not quick-tempered, it does not brood over injury, it does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
- I Corinthians 13:4-7
