On April 25, the 3rd graders took a field trip to "Gibbs' Garden", as they are concluding their study of Botany. Mr. Gibbs has a greenhouse and starts all of his garden plants from seeds in early January. Mrs. Gibbs has a large variety of roses and other plants in her flower beds. The students observed all of the plants, the garden, Mrs. Gibbs' chickens and pets, and even bees and butterflies pollinating flowers.

We had a blast at our Mother-Son Wiffleball Game! Special thanks to all of our PTC volunteers who helped to make this event special.
Our virtue this month for the Little Flowers Girls’ Club is patience. These girls (and their parent helpers) practiced patience today as all of the club members were taught how to sew a simple stitch. The group also tried a game of patience by trying to slowly move their facial muscles to get an Oreo cookie in their mouth from their forehead.

Our kindergarten students had a blast at Cicis Pizza on their field trip. Special thanks to Paul DePugh for hosting our students. Our kids loved learning about how pizza is made and they loved eating their pizza creations!

Congratulations to all of these students for being top winners in this week's IXL challenges for Language Arts and Math!

Caring for God’s world - our preschool class picked up trash around the school.

Our students were able to visit with the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, learn about their order, their foundress, their history, and their faith. We were blessed to have this opportunity for our students.
