Trust in the LORD with all your heart, on your own intelligence do not rely; In all your ways be mindful of him, and he will make straight your paths." - Proverbs 3:5-6

Congratulations to the graduating high school seniors of 2024 who came back to campus to participate in the Alumni Walk. You and your families have blessed our school throughout your time at JLCCS. Our students have been blessed this year to recieve their sacraments through Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Baptism, Reconciliation, and First Communion have been an incredible part of our students’ walk with Christ. Special thanks to our teachers who have prepared these students; especially Miss Hernandez, Mrs. Gilburt, Mr. Lagomarsino, Mrs. Alvarado, Mrs. Smith, and Mrs. Huerta. All of our teachers spend every day growing their faith. We cannot wait for our 8th graders to receive their Confirmation.

Camp of the Pines 2024 - our fifth grade class had an amazing time!

Congratulations to these two recent groups of IXL winners. IXL is personalized learning. With a comprehensive curriculum for our pre-k through 8th grade students, IXL offers individualized guidance and real-time analytics. Our students utilize IXL for ELA, math, science, social studies, Spanish, and more. This helps our teachers to meet the unique needs of each learner.

Students at JLCCS go to Camp of the Pines when they are in the 5th grade and again in the 8th grade. Camp of the Pines is a Catholic retreat site that believes that young people will grow in their relationship with Jesus through their camp. The goal that the staff at Camp of the Pines has is to give youth the confidence and the strength they need to continue their faith journey and to help them foster healthy vocations. As a result of experiences at The Pines, campers come back to campus with a desire to live joyfully and to confidently build the kingdom of God. Here are some photos from this year’s 8th grade camp experience.

We are proud of all of these students that submitted artwork for Navarro Council of the Arts' Art Show.

Special thanks to Our Lady's Altar Society at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for donating their Easter lilies to our school, so our Garden Club students could plant them in our newly renovated Rosary Garden! Truly a blessing.

Our preschool students had a fun time playing games in our preschool playground.

Mrs. Greens's second grade class loves to learn about division with M&M's. We are grateful that our teachers make learning fun!
