Special thanks to Mrs. Gloria for setting up such an amazing hot chocolate bar for all of our faculty and staff returning from Christmas break today. This was such a welcome surprise, given the cold weather!

Special thanks to all of the kids from JLCCS who participate in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Christmas Eve Children's Mass!

"The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.” Luke 2:10-12

Are school community loves taking part in an all-campus Posada prior to the beginning of Christmas break. Posadas are a Mexican Christmas tradition that celebrates the biblical story of the 9-day journey Joseph and Mary made to find a place to stay in Bethlehem.

We are blessed to have all of these amazing students on campus. We wish all of our JLCCS families, our alumni, and community members who support our school a Merry Christmas!

We had a visitor stop by our pre-K class today when they were at recess!

Today was Grinch Day at JLCCS! We loved having the Grinch on campus.

Special thanks to our 4H club for spreading holiday cheer! These kids went to Country Meadows Nursing & Rehabilitation Center to sing Christmas carols and pass out handmade cards.

These sweet kindergarten and first grade students had the best time on their field trip! They had such a great time, that the ride back to school was pretty quiet.

We had such a fun time at our Little Flowers Girls' Club Glamp Out! These girls enjoyed games, fellowship, crafts, karaoke, and more! Special thanks to all the parents who helped to make this event such a fun time for these sweet girls.

Congratulations to the winner and runner up of our JLCCS Spelling Bee! We are proud of all of our students who competed and we cannot wait for Angelia to compete at the Diocesan contest.

We wish our swim team the best of luck as they compete tomorrow in the DPL swim meet at Jesuit! These students have worked hard this semester. We would also like to thank Coach Ibarra and Coach Huerta for working with our team.

Our students celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception today at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. They placed luminaries around the statue of Mary. This feast day is especially important to our school, because this was the feast day when Mr. James L. Collins passed away and left the legacy for our church and school. Our school celebrates his generosity and the impact that he has made in Corsicana.
Consider leaving your own legacy for students in our community as we cultivate educational excellence through Christ!

Our students have been focusing on their blessings these last couple of weeks. We truly have so much to be thankful for this year.

We are thankful for our faculty, staff, students, and families at JLCCS!

We had a great time celebrating this week at school. We hosted our annual volleyball game with faculty versus the student team. The final score was 26-24. Then our students cheered on our swim team at the swim pep rally. Finally, we hosted the Turkey Trot and announce our Turkey - Mr. Arnold!

Our Blue Knights Boys' Club spent time today making personal Christmas cards for parishioners at church. We love that these boys have the opportunity to grow together in Christ!
