We had another club at JLCCS begin last week! JLCCS offers afterschool clubs for students to participate in. “We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.” – Albus Dumbledore

We are proud of our boys cross country team that ran this morning. Zachary placed 68th, Cade placed 63rd, and Luciano placed 84th out of all the Dallas schools. Go Bears!!!

Our girls cross country team just finished competing. Leslie 21st Pl., Jolie 41st Pl., Myleigh 42nd Pl. out of close to 100 competitors. Great job Bears!

Kindergarten fun in Mrs. Alvarado's class!

Outside observations with our 5th grade class.

We truly appreciate all of the work these two incredible men do for JLCCS. Happy Custodial Day!

These servant leaders need a little Kona Ice break!

Our students come together to host our weekly school mass. We are blessed to listen to them read, sing, offer, and glorify our Father in heaven.

Members from the Little Flowers Girls’ Club, in celebration of their Patron Saint, St. Thérèse of Lisieux, created and passed out prayer cards last night and this morning after masses at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Apple tasting in preschool!

The James L. Collins Catholic School U.S. Military History Club had an incredible meeting this week. Vietnam Veteran, TJ Brown, from the Coyote Squadron came to campus and educated students on military memorabilia. Afterwards club members went outside to learn more about our local Commemorative Air Force Squadron’s 1953 M37 Ambulance.

Our middle school nature's club met this past week and went on a nature walk around campus to observe and appreciate their beautiful surroundings.

We are grateful to KJZT Family Life for getting our students these sweet backpack prayer cards. Father Juan Carlos was able to bless the cards at mass and then they were given out to our students.

Our students in 4H Discovery members kicked off the year with a visit from two of our County Extension Agents to discuss upcoming 4H events.

We are truly grateful for all of these helpers who have spoken at Mass about the impact James L. Collins Catholic School has made in the lives of our students and assisted us with passing out GAP information!

Pokemon Club was a success this week!
