
Ready to learn in Mr. Lagomarsino's class!

Spending time with our Care Bears! Our 8th grade students enjoyed assisting their preschool Care Bears with a learning activity.

Our third grade students in Mrs. Gibbs' class created beautiful pumpkin sculptures this past week in class.

We love hearing our Guitar Club practice!





Learning how to be a kind to others is just one thing that the "Swifties" focus on at their club meetings. Of course, they also enjoy dancing to Tay Tay's songs!





Kona Ice Treat!

Students had fun at their last Blue Knights meeting while they learned about St. Ambrose and St. Nicholas. They played games with each other to reinforce the lesson. This month the boys focused on the virtue of Hope.




Our students were able to participate in the Fire Safety House sponsored by Corsicana Fire Rescue. Students were able to learn what to do in case of a fire emergency. Students learned about "Close Before You Doze". During a fire, a closed door can mean the difference between a room at 100 degrees vs a room at 1,000 degrees.

Introducing the James L. Collins Catholic School 3:16 Choir! Named after the Bible verse, John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life."

Great job Bears!!! Our girls and boys cross country teams competed this morning. Everyone improved their times and we could not be more proud!

Our 3rd grade students in Mrs. Gibbs' class were creating watercolor paintings of pumpkins this week.

These cheerleaders made locker decorations for our JLCCS Cross Country team to cheer them on in their upcoming meetings. #jlccsbears

We had a great time at our Little Flowers Girls' Club last week. Our members focused on the virtue of mercy and celebrated St. Faustina's Feast Day with some special heart cookies.

We had another club at JLCCS begin last week! JLCCS offers afterschool clubs for students to participate in. “We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.” – Albus Dumbledore

We are proud of our boys cross country team that ran this morning. Zachary placed 68th, Cade placed 63rd, and Luciano placed 84th out of all the Dallas schools. Go Bears!!!





Our girls cross country team just finished competing. Leslie 21st Pl., Jolie 41st Pl., Myleigh 42nd Pl. out of close to 100 competitors. Great job Bears!
