Our JLCCS Guitar Club had a great time learning about and trying out a variety of instruments on their field trip with Mrs. Anguiano.





Students in 4H at James L. Collins Catholic School made Christmas cards at their last club meeting. They plan to head to one of our local nursing homes to spread some holiday cheer later this month.

James L. Collins Catholic School participated in the Operation Christmas Child program again this year and filled up 17 boxes. Special thanks to all of our families who contributed. Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse.

We are truly grateful to the Charles Irvine Christian Foundation for their generosity! We received a grant from their foundation that will allow us to purchase new religion curriculum for the entire school.


Students in Mrs. Hall's class learned how to make butter!

These fourth grade students from James L. Collins Catholic School had a great time at the Navarro County Exposition Center for the annual Food and Fiber Roundup.





The Blue Knights Boys Club focused on the Love of God at their meeting. They learned about how God's love never fails and learned about St. Sebastian and St. Barbara. Afterwards they went and bundled up shoes for the school's Shoe Us the Love project.

Our JLCCS Flag Football team moved practice inside the Den (gymnasium) and worked out some new drills. These students are learning the basics of football, practicing drills, and focusing on how to work together all while having fun.

Our students in fifth through eighth grade were excited to go to Corsicana High School last week to watch Shrek, Jr. the Musical as part of the CISD Penguin Project.

Our Guitar Club meets weekly and has been practicing a variety of songs in both English and Spanish.

Our Little Flowers Girls' Club hosted a Glamp Out in the school's gym.

Our third grade students loved being in the choir loft singing.

These students received the Sacrament of Reconciliation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Juan Carlos Marin. We ask for you to pray for each of these students; that their hearts continued to be filled with the grace of our Lord.

Our seventh grade students attended a theatrical performance called Encore! by the Chamber Theatre group in Dallas. The class had read the stories being performed beforehand.

Students from James L. Collins Catholic School were excited to attend Theatreworks USA's touring production of The Pout-Pout Fish at Corsicana High School presented by Navarro Council of the Arts.
