Our school is blessed to have a state of the art STEM SmartLab on campus. Our SmartLab is in its second year of operation and our students have the opportunity to engage in hands on learning experiences that challenge them in a fun and interactive way.

These kindergarten kids love spending time in the library and learning together! JLCCS is blessed to have our own library on campus. Our school also participates in the Accelerated Reader program to help students improve their reading skills!
Congratulations Madeleine for winning first place in the Texas Catholic Daughters of Americas Education Contest. Her entry was a computer art piece that reflected the theme of “how does my love shine for others?” Her entry won at the state CDA level and will go on to compete at Nationals later this month. Our local Corsicana CDA court was excited to announce this award this morning after Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Our Altar Servers went to Camp Ascend yesterday on a field trip. They were able to come together as a group to pray and play for the day as they learned new skills that focused on hitting the target. Our students also learned that the common Greek word for sin used in the New Testament is hamartia. This word derives from a technical word used in archery. It literally means to miss the mark. It can also be used to express willful rebellion against God as well as making a mistake and falling short.
Our group was grateful to Father Juan Carlos Marin and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for hosting this retreat!

We are excited to have all of our teachers back on campus as we prepare for a wonderful school year! We are also blessed to have our teachers lounge filled with such great treats during training. JLCCS is our happy place!
Special thanks to everyone who came out today for our volleyball summer camp! We are looking forward to having two teams this coming year. We also appreciate Coach DePugh and Coach Bradshaw for hosting these opportunities for our students. Also thanks to JLCCS alumnus, Alexis, for coming out to help!
JLCCS Parents - As we get closer to our school year beginning, consider being a sponsor for one of our afterschool club. Each club must have two advisors. Clubs can meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Our clubs meet from 3:30pm to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. We have been blessed by the talents of our parents and have been able to offer a variety of clubs throughout the year including Military History, Pokemon, Star Wars, Chess, Cheer Club, Blue Knights Boys Club, Harry Potter Club, Flag Football, Garden Club, and more.
Another fantastic day at our Little Flower Girls' retreat. The girls made mosaics of the dancing sun, continued their cross stitching, made necklaces, and learned about Fatima.
We had a wonderful time on the first day of our Little Flower Girls’ Club summer retreat! The girls created prayer journals, learned to cross stitch, attended Mass, and focused on using their gifts to serve the Lord.
