These preschool student love the creative activities that they get engaged in at JLCCS. Writing and drawing in shaving cream was a huge success. We also loved having Father Juan Carlos Marin stop by.










Painting pumpkins was a huge hit in Mrs. Guzman's class!

Yesterday morning after Mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, these Little Flowers Girls' Club members were recognized with their summer camp patch for Our Lady of Fatima. This past summer, they attended a LFG camp that focused on Fatima, reflection on scripture, and deepening their faith in Christ.

Congratulations to our fifth and eighth grade classes for being the closest classes to guess the number of servers that each volleyball team would get over the net at our serve-a-thon! We also truly appreciate all of our sponsors who supported these teams.


Our Blue Knights Boys' Club discussed how to be "fishers of men" at their last meeting. Afterwards, they played some fun fishing activities.

Our sixth grade class built structures in their STEM class to see which group could engineer the tallest structure using marshmallows and toothpicks.






At our last Little Flowers Girls' Club, we revisited the story of Judith and learned more about St. Mary MacKillop’s story while scrap booking the virtue of Zeal.










Our preschool students had a great time on Pirate Day at JLCCS. They dressed up, went on a treasure hunt, and participated in more swashbuckling fun!





These first grade students in Mrs. Guzman's class learned about the importance of voting and created their own class election.



Our fifth grade volleyball team played two home matches this weekend. They won both games against Saint Rita's. Afterwards, they won one game, but lost two games against Prince of Peace. We also want to thank everyone who came out to cheer on the Bears! We especially want to thank our coaches and our booster club for running the concession stand.










Our 7th grade class presented their Colombian Exchange Project on the food that they researched. These students were able to see how foods were introduced from the Americas to the Old World.










Our cheer club kicked off the school year getting ready for our upcoming volleyball games.










Our second grade class is reading a nonfiction story about animals building homes this week. Mrs. Southard took her students around campus to investigate and observe out at the pond this morning.









Grandparents' Day was a success!

Our students at our last 4H meeting were able to present to each other all of the opportunities that Navarro County 4H has to offer. It was great to listen to them present to their classmates.
