Our students, faculty, and staff came together in prayer and thanksgiving, placing the new school year in the hands of the Lord. May every lesson, friendship, challenge, and accomplishment throughout this year draw us closer to Christ and remind us of our call to love and serve others.
As we begin this journey together, we are reminded:
“I can do all things in him who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13
May God bless our students as they learn and grow, bless our teachers as they guide and inspire, and bless our entire JLCCS community as we strive to live our faith each day.
We are grateful to begin another year rooted in faith, united as a family, and centered on Christ.
What an incredible accomplishment and a wonderful way to showcase her creativity and talent. Congratulations, Madeleine! We are cheering you on!
We also want to express our sincere appreciation to the Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) for all they do for our students and our community. Your members give so generously of their time through service, charity, and countless acts of kindness that make a difference in the lives of so many.
Thank you, CDA, for supporting our young people and for being such a wonderful example of faith in action!
Our students had the opportunity to learn the proper way to fold, raise, and lower the United States flag while gaining a deeper appreciation for the meaning and respect behind this important symbol of our nation.
We are especially grateful to the Monsignor Vitus Graffeo Knights of Columbus Council #5211 for their generous donation of new US and Texas flags for our school! 🇺🇸 Your generosity will help us proudly display our nation's flag and teach our students to honor it for years to come.
Instilling patriotism, respect, service, and gratitude in our young people is an important part of helping them become responsible citizens and servant leaders. We are grateful for community partners who take the time to invest in our students and help them understand that freedom is a gift—and one worth honoring.
Thank you, Knights of Columbus, for your generosity, your service, and for helping us raise a generation of young people who understand the importance of faith, family, country, and service.

We are blessed with a dedicated team that works tirelessly to create a Christ-centered environment where our students can learn, grow, and become the disciples whom God has called them to be.
As our teachers and staff prepare for the arrival of our students, we ask our JLCCS families and community to please keep our faculty and staff in your prayers. Pray for wisdom, patience, unity, and renewed energy as we begin a new school year. Most importantly, pray that everything we do will point our students toward Christ.
“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31
We are ready, we are blessed, and we are excited to welcome our Bears back to campus!
May God bless our faculty, staff, students, and families throughout the coming school year!
Lord, please bless and watch over each of our graduates. Guide their steps, strengthen their faith, and surround them with good friends, teachers, and mentors. Give them courage to stand firm in their values, wisdom to make good choices, and confidence to use the gifts and talents You have given them.
May they always remember the foundation of faith, knowledge, and love they received at JLCCS, and may they continue to grow into the young men and women God is calling them to be.
Lord, protect them, guide them, and keep them close to You. May they know that their JLCCS family continues to pray for them and cheer them on every step of the way.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.” — Proverbs 3:5
