State

Students from James L. Collins Catholic School competed in the State PSIA competition and the District 4H competition this weekend. 

In the State PSIA competition Frida Belen placed 6th in creative writing. Eli Gilburt placed 8th in number sense. Cade Parrish placed 8th and Luciano Garcia placed 9th in art memory. Miles Dickerson competed in spelling for JLCCS.  

In the 4H District Competition, Lauryl Freeze won 1st in vocal performance singing Born to Entertain. Benjamin Cozart won 1st in variety show for his magic act and he won 2nd in public speaking  (his topic was life lessons learned from WWII that are still applicable today).  Madeleine Cozart won 4th in vocal performance singing the Cup Song.
